I am an illustrator and author based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to coffee and cats, I am passionate about bringing stories to life through children's book illustration. In 2001, I completed a Diploma of Arts in Illustration, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Mediated Art, which I completed in 2006. When I’m not in front of my easel, you can find me working as a Visual Arts teacher in Special Education. I am driven to create opportunities for all my students to fully realise their true potential.

I live in Melbourne’s west with my partner and our beloved tortoise-shell cat Rosie. I am inspired by animals and people and how they behave and interact with each other. The mediums I mainly use with my illustrations are acrylic, watercolour and pencil. I enjoy creating characters and tales that are joyful and thoughtful that illustrate the positive impact of embracing diversity.
